Located approximately 60 miles northeast of Dallas, Texas, the JHW Ranch consists of land that has been in our family for generations. We feel blessed to wake up every morning in a rural and western culture surrounded by good horses, beautiful Golden Retrievers, and a small herd of beef cattle.

Our family got our first Golden about 35 years ago and fell in love with her. She was so intelligent and loving and obeyed better than our children! At that time, we knew that we wanted to raise Golden Retrievers. WE ARE NOT A KENNEL. We raise ranch-bred Goldens that have freedom to run on several acres, swim in creeks and ponds, and socialize with other ranch animals. When they’re confined in their one-acre pen, they romp and play and hang out in their own “pool” of water. Our hope is that people who choose to purchase one of our puppies will love and care for them as much as we do.
